Clare and Manny chose to keep it small, and The Parker Palm Springs gave them plenty of beautiful ground to do it on. The resort is one of our favorite elopement spots for exactly this reason — it packs an incredible range of backdrops into one property, from manicured lawns and citrus trees to striped umbrellas by the pool and interiors dripping with that unmistakable Jonathan Adler maximalism.
An elopement like this one moves differently than a full wedding day. There’s no long list of formal portraits to check off, no crowd to manage — just two people, good light, and a property built for exactly this kind of quiet, stylish celebration. That freedom shows up in the images: looser poses, real laughter, and time to actually explore the grounds instead of rushing through them.
The Parker’s gardens are lush almost to the point of surprise for a desert property, and that contrast — hot pink bougainvillea against clean white walls, dense greenery against wide-open sky — gives every frame something to look at beyond just the couple. It’s a location that rewards wandering, and we made the most of it with Clare and Manny.
