Derek and John said their vows at the Riviera in Palm Springs — the sprawling mid-century resort that’s since been reimagined as the Margaritaville Resort. It’s a location built for photographs: retro architecture with clean geometric lines, palm trees framing every courtyard, and that particular Palm Springs light that turns golden right when you need it to.
This wedding leaned into a bold red-and-black palette, and the desert setting gave it plenty of room to breathe — sharp modern backdrops for portraits, open poolside space for the reception, and enough variety across the property that no two frames from the day look the same.
