Before Paige and Todd said “I do,” Paige brought her whole family together for a portrait session at a beautiful rental property in Rancho Mirage — a way to mark the family getaway leading up to the wedding with something more lasting than phone photos. It’s one of our favorite kinds of sessions to shoot, because the excitement for the upcoming celebration is already in the air before a single vow is exchanged.
The property gave us plenty to work with: warm desert light spilling across the patio, clean architectural lines for structured group shots, and enough open space for the kind of candid, in-between moments that end up being everyone’s favorites later. Paige’s family brought the kind of genuine warmth and joy that makes a portrait session feel less like a shoot and more like a celebration in its own right.
