Rena and Richard chose the Ingleside Inn for their Palm Springs elopement, and the venue’s warm, old-Hollywood character turned out to be the perfect match for the day. Their color palette — a dress and suit that leaned right into the desert’s own warm tones — meant every frame felt cohesive before we even started shooting, the kind of small styling choice that pays off across an entire gallery.
What made the day especially fun to shoot was the couple themselves. Some elopements carry a hushed, formal energy; this one had the opposite feel, full of easy laughter and genuine chemistry that made directing portraits almost unnecessary — Rena and Richard did most of the work just by being themselves in front of the camera.
The Ingleside Inn’s mix of lush garden corners and classic architecture gave us plenty of variety without ever leaving the property, proof that an intimate Palm Springs elopement doesn’t need multiple locations to feel like a full wedding day.
