Five years after saying “I do” at The Parker Palm Springs, the Sunbergs came back — this time with two young daughters in tow. There’s something special about returning to the exact spot where a marriage began, especially when the trip now includes matching lemon-print outfits and a very serious lemonade stand.
The girls had just gotten off a flight from Minneapolis and went straight into modeling mode without so much as a nap, which says a lot about how much fun a Parker Palm Springs family session actually is. Between the hotel’s colorful gardens and its famous lemonade stand — which, judging by how fast that cup disappeared, was less a treat and more a requirement — there was no shortage of genuine, unposed moments to capture.
Sessions like this one are what we love most about returning clients. Watching a family grow into a new chapter, in the same place where their story as a couple started, is the kind of full-circle moment that photographs itself once you get out of the way and let the joy happen.
