Coronado is a small island just off the coast of San Diego, home to a naval base that anchors much of the community’s identity — including for Tara and Nick, since Nick is stationed there. Their devotion to each other and to their faith showed up in every detail of the ceremony and celebration, giving the whole day a grounded, sincere feeling that came through in every frame.
Loews Coronado Bay Resort made an ideal venue for exactly that kind of day, sitting close enough to the water that we could walk to the shoreline for portraits. A quick golf cart ride out to the sandy beach gave us some of the best coastal light of the whole session — soft, diffused, and perfect for showing off both the ocean backdrop and the emotion between the two of them.
